About
My name is Sarah Rude. I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I graduated with my doctorate in 2020 and have been working over in community health in the tricities area since. I had a desire to really serve the people closer to my beloved city, Walla Walla.
I have 10 years of medical surgical experience as a nurse where I fell in love with caring for the mind and body as a whole.
Since I started my career as a Psych NP, I have been growing in my experience and knowledge with the full spectrum of patients from schizophrenia to generalized anxiety.
In 2023, I launched Shalem Wellness (Hebrew meaning “whole, perfect, perfect peace”). My hearts desire is to help meet people where they are at and better help them find wholeness utilizing therapy, medication, and lifestyle adjustments. I’m a firm believer in helping other optimize their life without it costing them their sense of self. Too often I see people struggling with mental illness being over medicated and under treated and I hope bring a refreshing perspective.
